Linphone is an open source app offering free audio/video calls and text messaging. With Linphone, you can be reachable at any time, even if the app is closed, with a WiFi or 3G/4G internet connection.

Excellent App. Easy to use, sober and user friendly interface, works very well (wifi and 3G). I havent tested the video yet. Good job guys ;)

It works well with a sip provider (liberailvoip.it) and with siemens voip phones. The price is unbeatable. Design could evolve more toward iOS 7 guidelines, but it’s a negligible point.

The App seems pretty good, but please work on the graphics. The images or text are not of the highest quality and even the app logo looks like the last decade. Work on that and I would give it 5 stars!

This app allows me to use my own SIP provider. I leave this app running, put the phone to sleep and still get incoming calls. I keep this app running all the time because it is so wonderful. Extremely highly recommended.

Excellent sound quality. Allowed me to connect to my own voip provider. Must have app if u travel a lot!! I will try the windows version soon too!

Some bad moments

Every few days the app loses my SIP Account and the setup process Starts again... Please fix this.

Installation is easy (beware: only UDP works!) and as long as the app is in the foreground, it rings and everything is fine. But when the app (on iPad) is in the background, it does not ring! This is not usable (or did I misconfigure something?)

Well, it doesnt seem to start for me no matter what I try. Shame.

So I created a profile and have an Id but I cannot find where to enter this

Entered info for my existing sip account. App just hangs. Tried several times and uninstalled.

Improve please. Much more stable connection needed. Also face cam if possible should be movable.
